In this interactive workshop, CTE instructors will explore how effective classroom management extends far beyond handling behavior issues. Participants will share challenges and successes in managing their teaching environments, including classrooms, laboratories, and online courses. Presenters will provide practical strategies and real-world examples for creating and maintaining a positive, productive learning culture while establishing clear expectations, routines, procedures, and accountability. Discussions will focus on developing classroom norms, rules and consequences, work procedures, engagement strategies, and routine operations that support student success, enhance safety, and promote a professional learning environment.

This session is designed to help instructors proactively create conditions where students can learn, participate, and develop both technical and workplace skills.
