The annual College Hill chili feed brought neighbors together today to savor chili, vote on contest categories, and raise funds to improve Boswell Square Park & share feedback for future neighborhood upgrades.
The Topeka Zoo is welcoming warmer weather as its animals, from lions to porcupines, become more active and guests return to enjoy the exhibits.
Staff are pleased with the change from the cold months and look forward to a season of increased visitor engagement.
Topeka Fire Station #5 held an open house that featured the new aerial fire engine — a vehicle with modern controls and a 100-foot ladder — giving local residents an up-close look at the station on SW 17th Street and Topeka Boulevard.
