  • Gage Park in Topeka will open its mini-train and over 100-year-old carousel on March 15, with daily operations during spring break and weekend availability thereafter until summer.  WIBW

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A Monday night fire at a west Topeka home resulted in $30,000 in damages and the loss of two dogs, with the cause of the fire remaining undetermined.  WIBW

CRIME NEWS

  • A former Kansas process server was sentenced to 18 months of supervised probation and eight weekends in jail for falsifying the delivery of hundreds of legal documents.  The Topeka Capital-Journal
  • Gerardo Munoz-Lopez was arrested for an aggravated battery after a stabbing in East Topeka left a man with life-threatening injuries.  WIBW
