- ➤ The Topeka Police Department named its new Belgian Malinois Ryker after receiving 238 votes in a public ballot that included more than 600 participants. The vote on its Facebook page beat three other finalist names, and the dog was assigned to Sgt. Joshua Miller. The Topeka Capital-Journal
