Families traveled back in time this weekend at Stormont Vail Events Center’s Dinosaur Adventure event where kids roared with excitement over animatronic dinosaurs and interactive exhibits.

Visitors from Topeka and nearby towns enjoyed dino rides and bouncy houses — a fun day that taught them about both famous and lesser-known dinosaurs.

Tulips at Twilight had a bright opening weekend at Ward-Meade Park and is running through April 28th to show off its handmade light and floral displays.

Admission costs $5 per person (children under five free) and all proceeds will help care for the garden.
