- ➤ Volunteers at Helping Hands Humane Society keep shelter dogs active & socialized through playgroups and training classes that prepare them for adoption. The shelter plans to expand these programs to offer more dogs daily exercise and socialization opportunities. WIBW
- ➤ On April 19, over 50 JUMP members marched from University United Methodist Church to a Habitat for Humanity rehabilitation project to urge the City Council to fully fund the Affordable Housing Trust Fund; they carried 650 paper keys to mark the needs ahead of the Nehemiah Action Assembly on April 30.
