- ➤ Bartlett & West celebrated 75 years Tuesday night in Topeka. Founded in 1951, the engineering firm now employs over 400 people in offices from Texas to North Dakota and has donated more than $1.8million to local causes in the past 15 years. WIBW
- ➤ Hardee's at 2424 SW 6th Ave will reopen tomorrow at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting, prize wheel giveaways & appearance by Mr. Happy Star. The first 50 guests will receive a certificate for a free biscuit sandwich each week for a year. The Topeka Capital-Journal

- ➤ Southwest Auburn Road reopened to traffic on Monday, Apr. 27 after Phase III of its reconstruction project finished ahead of schedule. Shawnee County Public Works reported that improvements at the (SW 29th Street and Ayburn Road) intersection are complete and urged drivers to remain alert. WIBW
