Topeka Cello Collective will perform for free at Washburn University's White Concert Hall on Thursday, May 7, featuring three ensembles and young musicians (fifth graders to high school seniors) learning music outside the classroom.
Gov. Kelly honored over 500 top high school seniors Sunday, May 3 in Topeka at the 43rd Governor’s Scholars Awards Program; teacher Rachel Marlow (Olathe Public Schools) was also recognized as students from various schools were chosen based on strong academic records.
