Tembo, a cherished 56-year-old elephant at Topeka Zoo, was humanely euthanized after a rapid decline in health.

206 Highland Park Scots graduated Saturday morning at Stormont Vail Events Center as seniors reflected on years of learning and friendship from elementary to high school.
Topeka High, part of USD 501, graduated 434 seniors (the largest class in its history) today.
