Veteran Dr. Herschel Stroud sounded Taps at the Combat Air Museum today, marking his tenth year performing the tribute for fallen service members + the tradition began with a retired bugler.

Local principal Chris Holman retired after 30 years at Pauline South Intermediate School in Montara, ending his final day this past Thursday with a community open house.
He built lasting bonds with students and families (a cherished part of his career).

The Kansas Jayhawks will host their first NCAA baseball regional at Hoglund Ballpark (set to begin Friday, May 29) as Arkansas, Missouri State and Northeastern join the tournament.
On Monday, ESPN revealed the NCAA baseball bracket for games in Lawrence, naming the Kansas Jayhawks as hosts.
The team will face Northeastern while Missouri State & Arkansas join the regional contest.
