- ➤ On June 24th, the Topeka Fire Department reported that its K-9 Sky took a toy bone from Molly—the department's emotional support dog—during routine patrol, and officials plan to retrain him while he remains on duty. WIBW

- ➤ Groundhog Day: The Musical will be on stage at the Topeka Civic Theatre from July 5 to Aug. 9. Show times are 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays — the production follows a weatherman who learns to care for others as the tech crew resets the scenes with each repeat.
