Top City Riders' Inaugural Black Rodeo will be held Friday, Aug.

28 and Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. in Topeka, featuring a full rodeo, a special guest, Kids Corner and vendors (tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored).

Los Mandiles FC will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 3 at 29th and Croco in the former Norsemen Lakeheim Brewing building at Lake Shawnee.

Carlos Allende said the first guest will receive 52 free machete meals over the coming year.

The Patriotic Chimes Concert will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 outside Topeka High School, where THS alum Jerry Anderson will perform reworked traditional tunes on the original chime system & be joined by the school drum line for select pieces.
