Omni Circle Group ended a nine-month program by distributing laptops and tablets Saturday morning to Central Park residents.

The event was funded by a DOCK grant (from the Kansas Department of Commerce) to boost access to online services.

World War II Air Force veteran Marlin Reese turned 104 this week as the Knights of Honor (a local motorcycle group) held a drive-by parade to honor his long service.

The fourth annual For the Culture Festival kicked off Saturday at Topeka Social, uniting vendors, food, and young artists from across Kansas to celebrate African American culture and discuss local issues.
