  • Early Tuesday, Topeka police were called to a scene where a gray, four-door car had crashed at S.E. 29th and Minnesota, with investigation ongoing.  WIBW

  • Jay D. Hasty, 44, was arrested in North Topeka for meth possession and other offenses after a traffic stop.  WIBW
  • Mariann L. Belair was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder after her 2-year-old son accidentally shot and killed her 4-year-old daughter in Topeka.  The Topeka Capital-Journal
