  • The Topeka Civic Theatre hosted its 43rd Volunteer Appreciation Night by honoring 608 volunteers with musical performances, dinner, and awards—an event that showcased the crucial role volunteers play in the theatre’s long history. Artistic Director Shannon Reilly said the theatre would not exist without their ongoing support.  WIBW
  • Get Down in T-Town celebrated Topeka pride and showcased local talent as the event unfolded at Red Bud Park with vendors, food trucks, musical acts, and awards—organized by Steven Massey of It Takes a Village Inc who arranged a talent show for young performers.  WIBW

  • K-State fans gathered at The Celtic Fox on Aug. 23rd — the first season watch party — to cheer their team with Irish drinks and themed giveaways. Although the Cats lost to the Cyclones, local fans remained hopeful for upcoming games.  WIBW
