Topeka police investigated a fatal Labor Day shooting on Sept.

1 at about 7:35 a.m. on the 100 block of NW Holman Street where Cody Bush, 30, died— the homicide investigation remains open.

The Topeka Police Department said that 30-year-old Cody Bush was fatally shot at around 12:15 p.m. on August 14 on the 2400 block of Southeast Bellview Avenue—investigators are treating his death as a homicide.
