- ➤ Community members in Topeka gathered on November 16 for the annual Cranksgiving ride to donate groceries to local food banks—raising over $400 in monetary donations before the event began. Volunteers rode from Blackbird Espresso Bar and Bistro to a nearby grocery store and will have their food donations weighed for Doorstep and Blessing Boxes. WIBW

- ➤ Happy Basset Brewing Co on 29th street in Topeka will close after nine years because the owner did not renew the lease—merging operations with another location. Farewell drinks took place this weekend—customers raised a final toast with 'kill all the kegs.' KSNT
- ➤ West Ridge Mall celebrates the holidays with a new pop-up store from Stumpy’s — local brands Kanza Originals and Jock’s Nitch join the festive lineup. The mall is decorated for the season and will host its Santa parade on December 6. WIBW
