Local organizers are asking for volunteers, food, and cash donations to support nearly 60 years of the Community Thanksgiving Dinner so no one in Topeka spends the holiday alone.

The meal will be served from noon to 2 p.m. at Stormont Vail Event Center — organizers need about $15,000 to meet their goal.
