- ➤ Let’s Help hosted its Annual Turkey Giveaway on Saturday to support local families for the holidays — 150 families received donations including turkey, mashed potatoes, and canned vegetables from local donors such as the Islamic Center and Perkins. WIBW
- ➤ Shoppers at Beacon’s Holiday Market in Topeka got a chance to shop for holiday gifts and decorations from local vendors — who said the event offers unique, customizable finds that support small businesses. WIBW
- ➤ On November 22, National Adoption Day celebrated finalized adoptions at local courthouses as several children found their forever homes. Carrie and James Hill finalized the adoption of Benjamin after fostering him for a long time — they hope their experience spurs other families to adopt. WIBW

- ➤ The Kansas Museum of History reopened yesterday, November 22, after three years of renovations—lawmakers, museum leaders, and local tribe representatives spoke about its impact. The museum offers free admission until the end of the year and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. WIBW
