  • Hundreds of National Guard members, including a teacher from Eisenhower Middle School, safely returned home to Topeka from deployment in Kuwait.  WIBW

  • Washburn Tech's 11th annual Toys for Tots event saw 500 volunteers creating wooden toys for distribution across 15 northeast Kansas counties.  WIBW
  • A family celebrated their late daughter's 9th birthday by covering admission for 80 children at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, turning their sorrow into an opportunity to spread joy in her honor.  WIBW
  • QDOBA Mexican Eats donated $10,000 to the Topeka Rescue Mission to aid in providing shelter, food, and services to those in need, following their North Topeka restaurant's opening day fundraiser.  WIBW
  • St. John's Lutheran Church hosted a Christmas Bazaar with a soup luncheon and sale of crafts and baked goods, raising funds for mission projects and hurricane relief on the East coast.  WIBW
